Why you need a Crit'Air sticker
Driving in France without a valid Crit’Air sticker can result in fines and restricted access to key urban areas. Crit’Air stickers classify your vehicle based on its emissions, allowing you to comply with local regulations and enjoy hassle-free driving.
Crit’Air sticker are required for all vehicles, including those registered outside France.
Since January 1, 2023, vehicles classified as Crit’Air 5 or those without a Crit’Air sticker have been restricted from driving in Low Emission Zones. Some cities also extend these restrictions to Crit’Air 4 vehicles.
How to affix the Crit'Air sticker
The Crit’Air sticker has to be clearly visible from the outside. Place the Crit’Air Sticker on the inside of your windshield, in the lower right-hand corner.
